I really love how scanner pictures of dolls look, and it's just so fun and easy to do, so I thought we could have a thread for this on here.
After all pretty much everyone has a scanner nowdays

So I'll start with a few I took of some of my guys yesterday....

VERY cool idea Once, i had a Scanner, and did NOT have a digital camera, and i used this method to "photograph' dolls i put on ebay to sell LOL Never thought to use it for artistic photos. LOL SOme of the pics look like the doll is caught behind glass and cannot escape

Wow CBAB you must have had to get VERY good at it to get a picture clear enough for a sales listing!

They do come out very cool though, I love the way some of them look like they're underwater.

I don't think it can harm them, it's the UV in sunlight that yellow's the resin, and damages pretty much everything left in the sun. I don't think the scanner light is strong enough to hurt a doll.

well, i found that for figures and dolls, i could just lay them flat out, arms to the side, hair pulled back behind them, etc, and they took great photos! LOL
